Superbowl 47: The Harbowl
Many people are calling Superbowl 47 “The Harbowl” because for the first time in history to head coaches that are also brothers will face off in the Superbowl. John Harbaugh, the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens will go against his younger brother Jim Harbaugh who happens to be the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. This isn’t the first time these two brothers faced each other however. Harbaugh Bowl I took place on Thanksgiving Day in 2011. Here is the video clip showing the last time the Ravens played the 49ers: Share this…
49ers Defeat Atlanta Falcons
In what turned out to be a good NFC Championship game, the San Francisco 49ers came back to beat the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome. The Atlanta Falcons held on to 24 to 14 lead, when the 49ers managed to score 14 unanswered points. The San Franciso 49ers are headed to the Superbowl!!! Final Score: 49ers 28 Falcons 24 Share this…
It is Going to be Some Good Championship Football Today!
The matchups are set and about to take place. The Atlanta Falcons will take on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game and the Baltimore Ravens will play the New England Patriots again in the AFC Championship game. Despite the fact Matt Ryan won his first playoff game, Im taking the 49ers to win the NFC Championship game. I’m picking Joe Flacco to get the monkey off his back and the Baltimore Ravens to win the AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots. Share this…
Only 4 Teams Left in Quest for Superbowl
So far 2 so called elite quarterbacks have been knocked out of the playoffs. Those 2 quarterbacks are Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. The shocker has to be that Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers got eliminated in their first playoff game after going 15 and 1 for the season. Congrats to the four teams left in the quest for the Superbowl which include the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, and the New York Giants. Share this…
Saints vs 49ers Preview
The New Orleans Saints vs San Francisco 49ers NFL playoff matchup will be the classic battle of offense vs defense. The Saints will be led by their quarterback Drew Brees who has thrown for a NFL record breaking 5,476 yards this season. The 49ers will be led by an extraordinary rushing defense and a Frank Gore running attack on offense. I am a strong believer that defense wins championships but I am picking the Saints to win this game. The Saints don’t depend too much on the rushing game and Drew Brees is playing at such a high level that
Handshake Hoopla!!!
The biggest story of the week right now is about the handshake that led to a dispute between the Lions head coach Jim Schwartz and the 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh after the game on Sunday. The San Francisco 49ers gave the Detroit Lions their first loss by beating then 25 to 19. Lions head coach Jim Schwartz didn’t appreciate the way 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh shook his hand after the game which led to the turmoil. Check out a clip of the handshake for yourself: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zp1Q0MZE9Y&w=640&h=360] Share this…
