Roger Goodell Drops Hammer on New Orleans Saints
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell dropped the hammer on the New Orleans Saints today punishing them severely for their involvement in the bounty scandal known as Bountygate. The punishment was severe. Saints head coach Sean Payton was suspended for a year without pay. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis was banned for the first eight regular-season games next season. The team’s former defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams , was indefinitely banned. Goodell also fined the Saints a half million dollars and took away their second-round draft pick this year and in 2013. Roger Goodell sent a clear message that that this type of
Only 4 Teams Left in Quest for Superbowl
So far 2 so called elite quarterbacks have been knocked out of the playoffs. Those 2 quarterbacks are Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. The shocker has to be that Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers got eliminated in their first playoff game after going 15 and 1 for the season. Congrats to the four teams left in the quest for the Superbowl which include the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, and the New York Giants. Share this…
Saints vs 49ers Preview
The New Orleans Saints vs San Francisco 49ers NFL playoff matchup will be the classic battle of offense vs defense. The Saints will be led by their quarterback Drew Brees who has thrown for a NFL record breaking 5,476 yards this season. The 49ers will be led by an extraordinary rushing defense and a Frank Gore running attack on offense. I am a strong believer that defense wins championships but I am picking the Saints to win this game. The Saints don’t depend too much on the rushing game and Drew Brees is playing at such a high level that
The Colts are Horrible!
I have never seen a football team as so dependent on one player like the Indianapolis Colts. I mean they can’t even seem to be able to win just one game without Peyton Manning. I just watched the Saints vs Colts game and the New Orleans Saints slaughtered the Colts by a score of 62 to 7. The Saints just got finished kicking the Colts asses on both sides of the ball. Dree Brees completed like 88% of his passes against the Colts and threw for 5 touchdowns. I bet it sucks to be a Colts fan right now. Click
First NFL Game Came Down to Last Play!
The first game of the 2011 season featuring the Green Bay Packers vs the New Orleans Saints was a good one. It came down to the very last play in which the Packers stopped the the Saints on the goal line and held on to win 42 to 34. Drew Brees passed for 419 yards and 3 TDs while Aaron Rodgers threw for 3 TDs and 312 yards. What a way to start the season! Share this…

Seahawks Beat Saints
The Seattle Seahawks upset the defending Superbowl Champion New Orleans Saints today in a high scoring battle. Many people thought that the Seahawks did not even deserve to be in the playoffs with one of the worst regular season records ever for a team that made it to the playoffs. The Seattle Seahawks proved their critics wrong today. Hasslebeck threw for touchdowns passes for the Seahawks as they defeat the Saints 41 to 36. Share this…
Cardinals Shock the Saints
Drew Brees passed for 294 yards and 2 TDs, but it wasn’t enough as the Arizona Cardinals beat the New Orleans Saints 30 to 20 today. Share this…
Top Seeds Will Collide in Superbowl XLIV
For the first time since 1993, the top seed in the AFC will play the top seed in the NFC in the Superbowl. The Indianapolis Colts are favored to win but most of America would probably like to see the New Orleans Saints win their first Superbowl. This has the the potential to be one of the highest scoring Superbowl games ever featuring two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. My prediction: Saints 31 Colts 27 Share this…
Saints Delete Cardinals 45 to 14
Defense wins championships and the Arizona Cardinals just did not have any as they gave up 45 points for the second straight week. The New Orleans Saints were too much for them and outscored them by 31 points. The Cardinals are deleted from the playoffs and the Saints move on to the NFC Championship. Final Score: Saints 45 Cardinals 14 Share this…
