Randy Moss is Back!

Randy Moss will go down in history as one of the best wide receivers ever to enter the NFL. Many people wonder how much of a factor he can be at age 35 however. We will get our chance to find out in the 2012 season since Randy Moss has just inked a one year contract deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Randy Moss is currently tied for 2nd for the most touchdown receptions in NFL history with 153. In his prime, Moss was pretty much unstoppable at the wide receiver position. The San Francisco 49ers obviously believe that Moss

Bountygate vs Spygate

the biggest story in the NFL right now involves Gregg Williams for setting up a bounty system while with the New Orleans Saints. It is reported that players and coaches pooled a little extra cash every week to pay a bounty on big hits on opposing players on the other teams. This bounty scandal is currently under investigation and it is expected that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will come down with some punishment for those involved soon. Watch as ESPN sports analyst debate which NFL football scandal was worse. View video clip here Share this…

Hue Jackson Lands in Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Friday that they have hired former Oakland Raiders head coach, Hue Jackson, as their Defensive Backs and Special Teams Assistant. The move will bring Hue Jackson back home to the team he spent three seasons with from 2004 to 2006. Jackson was previously fired after just one season as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. Here is a clip of Hue Jackson on the NFL Network talking about getting fired by the Oakland Raiders: Click here for more Hue Jackson info Share this…

The More Balanced Team Wins Superbowl

Tom Brady will probably go down in history as one of the best quarterbacks of all time, but the New England Patriots defense was ranked last in the NFL during the regular season. The New York Giants had a more balanced attack which gave them the upperhand in Superbowl XLVI. Superbowl XLVI turned out to be a relatively close game however. The Patriots made a gutsy call on defense to allow the Giants to score a TD quickly before they could run out the clock giving the Giants a 21 to 17 lead. Tom Brady then had the task of

Superbowl XLVI Preview

Superbowl XLVI will be a rematch of Superbowl XLII between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. The last time these two teams met in the Superbowl, the New Yorks Giants beat the New England Patriots 17 to 14. The Giants were able to keep the Patriots from having a perfect year as the Patriots were undefeated up to that point. Superbowl XLVI will feature the same two great quarterbacks Tom Brady and Eli Manning. The New York Giants have the more balanced team, but Tom Brady is known to play well when he has a chip on

AFC Championship Game Preview

The Patriots vs Ravens game will feature the 2 top AFC teams with the best records in the conference. The New England Patriots are know this year for having a great offense and a bad defense. The Baltimore Ravens are known this year for having a great defense and a mediocre offense. I feel the AFC Championship will come down to the quarterback play of Tom Brady and Joe Flacco. Tom Brady had a record breaking day throwing 6 TD passes last week against the Denver Broncos. Joe Flacco stuggled against the Houston Texans last week but threw 2 TD

Broncos vs Patriots Preview

It is the Broncos vs Patriots! It is Tim Tebow vs Tom Brady! This is the matchup that I’m waiting for today. It is a battle of 2 quarterbacks with totally different styles. Tim Tebow isn’t known for his arm but he is a strong young quarterback with great running ability and leadership ability. He has made some amazing plays in the 4th quarter as well as OT this season to lead his Denver Broncos team to victory. Tom Brady, on the other hand, is known for staying poised in the pocket and picking apart opposing defenses. In order to

Saints vs 49ers Preview

The New Orleans Saints vs San Francisco 49ers NFL playoff matchup will be the classic battle of offense vs defense. The Saints will be led by their quarterback Drew Brees who has thrown for a NFL record breaking 5,476 yards this season. The 49ers will be led by an extraordinary rushing defense and a Frank Gore running attack on offense. I am a strong believer that defense wins championships but I am picking the Saints to win this game. The Saints don’t depend too much on the rushing game and Drew Brees is playing at such a high level that

Matt Ryan Remains Winless in Playoffs

Going into today’s playoff game against the New York Giants, the Atlanta Falcon’s quarterback Matt Ryan had yet to win a NFL playoff game. Nothing changed. The Giants destroyed the Atlanta Falcons today by a score of 24 to 2. That’s right! The Atlanta Falcons only scored 2 points today. With the addition of Julio Jones in the off season, some thought that the Falcons would be the new “greatest show on turf”. This turned out to be a joke. Don’t get me wrong, I think Matt Ryan is a good quarterback. I just think he is highly over rated.
