Our pick for the game of the week is the Ravens vs Eagles game. It should be a really tough battle as it is the homecoming for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens are coming off a big win against the Cincinatti Bengals. Patriots Sign Olympic Sprinter Jeff Demps

The New England Patriots have made a move to sign Olympic sprinter Jeff Demps. The move took place this past Friday. Jeff Demps was a member of the USA men’s 400×100 relay team which won the silver medal in the 2012 Olympics in London. The Patriots will most like use Jeff Demps on special teams as a kick returner. Chad Johnson Released By Miami Dolphins
Breaking News – Chad Johnson has been released by the Miami Dolphins. The released took place just one day after Johnson was arrested on charges of domestic assault. Chad Johnson also knawn as Ochocinco was was arrested Saturday and later released on a $2,500 bond. Johnson’s wife accused him of head-butting her during an argument in front of their home and Johnson was charged with simple domestic battery, a misdemeanor. Roger Goodell Drops Hammer on New Orleans Saints
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell dropped the hammer on the New Orleans Saints today punishing them severely for their involvement in the bounty scandal known as Bountygate. The punishment was severe. Saints head coach Sean Payton was suspended for a year without pay. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis was banned for the first eight regular-season games next season. The team’s former defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams , was indefinitely banned.
