Matt Ryan Leads Atlanta Falcons to Victory
It was probably one of the best Thursday night football games that I can remember. The Falcons were trailing the Baltimore Ravens with about a minute left on the clock by a score of 21 to 20. Matt Ryan then throws the game winning touchdown and the Falcons go ahead to win by a score of 26 to 21. I was impressed by the play of both of these young quarterbacks but Matt Ryan gets the win over Joe Flacco. Share this…
Ravens vs Falcons on Thursday Night Football
Although I have never been a big fan of Thursday night football, this game will be a treat for football fans. This could very well be a preview of the Superbowl. Both the Baltimore Ravens and the Atlanta Falcons have 6 wins and just 2 losses and are at the top of their divisions. Both teams are also led by two young promising quarterbacks. It should be a great game to watch. Share this…
Spit Controversy
The latest controversy took place during the Ravens vs. Dolphins game on Sunday. Channing Crowder is accusing Le’Ron McClain of the Baltimore Ravens of spitting in his face during the game. McClain and coach Harbaugh of the Ravens are denying the incident. You can see a video clip of the incident at the site below: http://www.ravensblogger.com/2010/11/hit-wars-and-spit-wars/ http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=pro-football-blog-20&o=1&p=13&l=ur1&category=sports&banner=1FG4SKMXKH8ANN37MB82&f=ifr Share this…
Cowboys Fire Wade Phillips
Jerry Jones has had enough. The Cowboys have been playing some terrible football this season and a move had to be made. Head coach Wade Phillips got fired and assistant head coach Jason Garrett got promoted to interim head coach. The Cowboys currently have just 1 win and 7 losses. Share this…
Steelers Hold Off Bengals 27 to 21
The Pittsburgh Steelers survived to beat the Bengals after almost blowing a 20 point lead Monday night. The Steelers elevate to 6 wins and 2 losses while the Cincinnati Bengals fall to a record of 2 wins and 6 losses. Terrell Owens caught 10 passes for 141 yards and 2 TDs but it wasn’t enough for the Bengals to pull it out in the end. Share this…
Michael Vick Beats Peyton Manning
In what must be one of the highlights of his career since his return to NFL football, Michael Vick led the Philadephia Eagles to a victory over Peyton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts today. Vick threw for 218 yards, 1 TD, and no picks. Manning threw for 287 yards, 1 TD, and 2 picks. Vick ended up with a passer rating of 93.8 while Manning had a rating of 64.7. Final Score: Eagles 26 Colts 24 Share this…
Browns Upset Patriots
The shocking upset this week has to be the Cleveland Browns smashing the New England Patriots by a score of 34 to 14. Cleveland RB Peyton Hillis ran all over the Patriots for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. Share this…
Jerry Rice Voted NFL’s Best Player in History
In a recent list of the NFL Network’s top 100 NFL players in history, Jerry Rice was ranked number one. Whether you agree or disagree with the decision, Rice has too many NFL records for me to list on this blog so I’ll provide a link: List of Jerry Rice Records Share this…
Randy Moss is Going to Tennessee
The Tennessee Titans have claimed wide receiver Randy Moss off waivers. If Randy Moss catches a touchdown pass this season for the Titans, he’ll become the first player in NFL history to catch a touchdown pass for three different teams in one season. Share this…
Packers Shut Out Jets
The Jets are a very good football team but I do think they are overrated. The Green Bay Packers proved my point yesterday by shutting out the New York Jets by a score of 9 to 0. Share this…
