Did Dallas Cowboys Spend Too Much on Tony Romo?

Tony Romo just got a 6 year deal worth 108 million to stay with the Dallas Cowboys! It is reported that 55 million of it is guaranteed! In other words, Tony Romo got more guaranteed money than Superbowl 47 MVP quarterback Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens.

In my opinion, the Cowboys spent way too much to keep a quarterback that doesn’t seem to be able to get them to the promise land. Tony Romo is way too inconsistent and too old for that kind of money to me but if Jerry Jones is willing to spend it then so be it. Tony Romo is currently 33 years old.
